How to Remove or Reset a PowerPoint Timer

UbiTimer gives you multiple ways to remove or reset timers in your presentation. Whether you want to delete a single timer or clear all active timers, the process is quick and simple.

Option 1: Delete the Timer Using Native PowerPoint Controls

1. Click on the timer shape directly on your slide.
2. Press Delete on your keyboard.

This removes the timer from the selected slide only.

Option 2: Clear All Active Timers

1. Open the UbiTimer task pane.
2. Go to the Timer tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the panel.
4. Click “Clear All Timers”.
5. Confirm the removal when prompted.

This removes all active timers from your presentation.

Option 3: Reset the Timer

If you do not want to remove the timer entirely, you can simply reset it.

1. Open the Timer tab.
2. Click Reset.

This restarts the timer without deleting it from the slide.
