How to Enable an Alarm Sound for Your PowerPoint Timer

Want your PowerPoint timer to play a sound when time runs out? With UbiTimer Pro, you can enable an alarm that plays automatically when your countdown reaches zero. Choose from built-in alert sounds or upload your own custom audio to signal the end of your presentation, exam, or activity.

UbiTimer Pro allows you to activate an alarm that plays automatically when your timer reaches zero. This is ideal for exams, timed presentations, workshops, and classroom activities.

Enable the Timer Alarm

1. Open the UbiTimer task pane.
2. Go to the Advanced section.
3. Check the box labelled “Play alarm when timer ends”.

The alarm feature is available in the Pro version of UbiTimer.

Select an Alarm Sound

Once activated, you can:

• Select one of the built-in alert sounds.
• Choose your own custom sound file.

Preview Alarm Sounds

To hear how an alert will sound before presenting:

1. Click the Preview Alert button.

This allows you to test the alarm before running your slideshow.
